Mid Century (1950-79) Alfredo Barbini large Murano glass vase in deep burgundy and mauve-pink in the “Cluthra" glass-blown style with layers of trapped, translucent bubbles throughout the lower/mauve coloring. This piece is in great condition for the vessel’s size and age; no chips or cracks, and only a single quarter-size scratch 2.5-3in down from the base of the vase neck (see photos) this piece has maintained its incredible vibrancy in color and a remarkable luster not usually found in items of this size and age. Hand etched/signed "Barbini Murano" towards bottom (see photos).
