Vintage 1970s bright yellow molded plastic "Chatter Platter" designed by Arthur Umanoff for Custom Merchandise Corporation. Bold typographic design that spells out “EAT!” in block letters with recessed compartments, forming each letter and the exclamation point.
Part of Umanoff’s series of “LITERALS” -- this tray was marketed as a snack and serving piece and has become a collectible example of pop art–inspired kitchenware. Durable plastic construction with a glossy finish.
