The red paint on the wood has created crackling texture and there are areas where the paint is missing. Some light rust on the cast iron. It is fully adjustable. The height can be lowered or raised. The top can be laid flat or adjusted to any angle. When laid flat as a table, it measures 28 x 17.5 inches. Maximum height is about 43 inches tall, minimum height is about 31 inches tall. There is a spring inside to help aid in adjusting. See less
