This "boule de savon" was made by the Rupel Boom glassworks in Belgium. The jewelry box has a gilded bronze rim. The lid is decorated with a delicately worked bronze-plated fish. "Boule de Savon" opal glass changes from a cool white to a fiery red when exposed to sunlight. Dimensions: The jewelry box is 12 cm high and has a diameter of 12 cm at its widest point. The box is in very good vintage condition. This piece has an attribution mark,
