Antique Tall Chinese Cizhou Ware Wine Jar/Vessel/ Vase, 21" Tall, 21.8 Pounds
Cizhou ware, or Tz'u-chou ware, originated in northern China, primarily in present-day Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, and Gansu provinces. It's characterized by its robust stoneware body, often covered with a white slip and clear glaze, and decorated with bold, freely drawn designs in black, white, green, or brown.
