Signed lower right, 'Horning' for Elizabeth Horning (American, born 1943) and painted circa 1985. Accompanied by artist biography and old label on original backing.
Previously with: Accent Graphics Inc., Phoenix, Arizona.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1965, Elizabeth Horning became an art educator in New Hampshire before moving to Arizona in 1973. Working in a variety of capacities from illustrator and commercial artist to art director, Horning has continued to be involved in the arts.
Horning was the recipient of a Royal Bailey Farnum scholarship and Ford and Carnegie Foundation grants and is a member of the Phoenix Art Group.
