Born in California on May 26, 1907, Lucille Johnston settled in Glendale in the 1930's. She exhibited widely including at the California Watercolor Society, (1933). Johnston is listed in relevant art dictionaries including "Artists in California, 1786-1940" by Edan Hughes.
