Pair of bentwood armchairs designed by Jack Cartwright and produced by Boling Chair Company c. 1958 in walnut and leatherette. Sculptural with a wonderful curvature in the arms and taper to the legs, these chairs are unusually stylish and interesting to look at. It retains the original faux-leather covering, this in overall quite good condition and still very comfortable. It makes a particularly nice desk chair with a great side profile in the hoopback arms.
