An impressive Henri II style pedestal in walnut featuring a top having elaborate edge detail over a paneled apron and supported by four fluted colonettes raised upon turned feet. Open at sides and front, a lower shelf offers additional display space against a beautifully paneled back. Signed “Levacher” on back - possibly a reference to a French display clock.
