The desk was reproduced from a French original circa 1720, and exhibits the delicacy of the French Rococo with rounded legs and Sabot brass feet. The hand tooled leather top with gold borders and gilt striping are complemented by a lustrous lacquer background. The hardware is solid polished brass. See less
