Fabulous vintage oil on masonite board painting by the well regarded New Orleans artist, Nancy Davis! It depicts a solitary male figure, with a distinctive harlequin pattern on his body. Absolutely stunning work, expertly executed and in it's period original frame.
It measures 20 3/4" wide by 24 3/4" tall overall, with the board itself measuring 16" wide by 20" tall. Signed lower right Nancy Davis.
It is in overall very good condition as you can see in the photographs, with moderate, age appropriate, wear on the frame, including some minor gesso chipping and scratches, mainly to the bottom of the frame from being moved around and in storage for many years.
