This is a wonderful Americana Folk Art Duck Decoy. From the late 1800s, its hand-carved pine with beautiful wood grain on the body. It’s aged beautifully including a crack on the duck back. The head is from a different type of wood - possibly maple. This is a great mantel, bookshelf or side table piece.
