This antique Persian Melayer runner is handwoven in Iran’s Hamadan region and carefully distressed and restored in the U.S. Measuring 3'9" by 10'5", it reflects the rich heritage of Persian rug-making, an art form dating back to the Bronze Age. The oldest remaining Persian rugs originate from the Safavid dynasty in the 16th century, underscoring the deep cultural significance of this craftsmanship.
