It is made out of wood and has concrete in the center which makes it weigh about 9 lbs. there are gold painted details here and there, including some faint patterns around the collar. There are large chunks of wood that have broken off and chips and other wear in the lacquer. My best estimate is it’s from the late 1800s. See less
