The two doors feature stylized … Read more This Asian style server is finished in an oxblood red with black and gold embellishments. The two doors feature stylized chrysanthemums in yellow gold and rose gold on black stems against a wood-grain background. (Please note: colors can be inaccurate on computer monitors. The shade of red is a medium-dark oxblood, almost cordovan color. It might be described as a dark rose or burgundy. It would NOT be accurately described as pink or orange.) We believe that the piece was made around 1980. It was in relatively good condition when we acquired it. With a little Bondo and some cosmetic remediation, it is now in excellent vintage condition with few signs of age or wear. Some dealers might even market it as "like new" condition. The size and design would make this piece useful as a buffet, console, or credenza. It might even be used as a dresser in a bedroom.
