This Semi Antique Persian Tabriz Rug is expertly handwoven in the Tabriz region of Northern Iran. It has been distressed and refinished in the U.S., measuring 8'11" x 12'11". Persian rugs are integral to Iranian art and culture, with weaving traditions tracing back to the Bronze Age. The earliest surviving examples date from the Safavid dynasty in the 16th century.
