This Semi Antique Persian Tabriz Rug, measuring 6'2"x 10'1", has been hand woven in the Tabriz region of Northern Iran, then carefully distressed and refinished in the U.S. This exquisite piece is a representation of the rich heritage of Persian (Iranian) art and culture, with a tradition of rug-weaving dating back to the Bronze Age. Its earliest surviving examples can be traced back to the Safavid dynasty in the 16th century.
