You are viewing a very cool Aluminum + Male Wood Cheese Serving Dish by Russel Wright for Raymor c1939.
This unique piece is from Wright's iconic aluminum line for his then-newly minted company Raymor. It features an 8 5/8" diameter spun aluminum dish with an inset center and hand turned maple wood insert. It was meant to be served with a portion of cheese on the wooden insert and crackers in the aluminum ring on the outside. Stamped "RUSSEL WRIGHT: on underside of aluminum dish.
Total measurements are 8 5/8" diameter x 1"T...wooden insert is 3 1/2" dia x 1/2"T.
NOTE: matching Cheese Knife also available (SOLD SEPARATELY).
