Chinese porcelain ginger jar with a fitted lid. This impressive piece measures approximately 12 inches in diameter at its widest point and stands a substantial 19 inches high.
The vibrant hand-painted floral decorations are executed in the Famille Rose style, a term referring to a palette of enamel colors introduced to Chinese porcelain during the Qing Dynasty. This palette is characterized by its soft, opaque hues, including a distinctive pink , gold & green adorned with birds, florals and people. Chinese longevity enamel for export.
