This is a beautiful handwoven linen classic American homespun check. Sewn by hand with a seam at 19” on the front and back. It is backed with a solid piece of ivory homespun, and open on one end. A really beautiful piece discovered in New Hampshire.
Deirdre’s Bio:
This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.
