From the period of Napoleon III (circa 1850), this French giltwood mirror has a parcloses form, with four smaller mirrors surrounding the main mirror. Also referred to as a cushion mirror, the large mirror is separated by a border of beading. The smaller mirrors are divided by musical trophies set at an angle. Topped by a beautiful crown consisting of two birds perched on a trophy of a quiver of arrows and a torch, all surrounded by flowering margents.

Eyelet in the back, but we recommend using additional rigging when hanging. A previous owner installed wooden “feet” to the back, but these can be removed if hung on a wall. less
