A rarely seen antique circa early 1900s silver plated open salt cellar from The Ambasciatori Hotel, a historic luxury hotel on the Via Veneto in Rome, Italy! Now known as InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace, the Ambasciatori Hotel first opened its doors in 1905.
In excellent condition for a piece that’s 100+ years old, no large dents or damage. Some surface scratches and small marks/bumps you’d expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. The silver plating has mild tarnish but no wear through. Marked on the base “Albergo Ambasciatori Roma” Made by B. Bohrmann of Frankfurt.
