The vase's sculptural, flowing form, with its broad, flaring rim and a spiraling, ribbed body, is a hallmark of the company's artistic direction in the mid-20th century.

The striking feature of this piece is the 'doublé' or 'cased' crystal technique, where a layer of colored glass is cased over a clear crystal base.
