The shaped moulded top sits over a frieze incorporating two concealed side drawers, offering discreet storage. The table is supported on an elaborately carved central pedestal with scrolling acanthus detail, raised on four bold cabriole legs with further foliate carving and scrolled feet. Of excellent colour and patina, this is an impressive and practical piece of 19th century furniture, ideal as a statement coffee table.
