Table is raised on elegant twin pedestal bases, each with turned baluster columns over outswept reeded legs terminating in brass caps and casters. The table features two original leaves, allowing it to extend generously for larger gatherings. Each leaf is 24.5". Tables of this type, often referred to as "dining pedestal tables", became highly desirable in England's great houses. The mahogany top and well-proportioned pedestal bases highlight the craftsmanship and elegance associated with George IV furniture.
