Pair of vintage Murano glass works by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d’Arte, Italy, circa 1960’s.
• Vase: Tall sommerso form in purple, orange, and clear glass with faceted sides. Small dink to one lower corner, professionally repairable and not detracting from display. H 12” x W 3” x D 3”
• Ashtray: Diamond-shaped faceted glass with deep red core, hints of yellow, and clear exterior. Excellent condition, no damage. H 4.75” x W 6” x D 6”
Both pieces showcase Poli’s mastery of the sommerso (submerged) glass technique, where layered colors are encased in clear crystal, producing depth and luminous refraction. *piece is unmarked.
