It is signed on the back. … Read more This is a stunning vintage Turkish ceramic wall plate, hand-painted, showcasing traditional folk art.
It is signed on the back. The first photo is taken in natural daylight to try to show the deep colours, but the light still washes out how saturated the blue actually is. The colours are black and a deep saturated almost teal blue colour. There is a tiny chip on the back edge, shown in the last photo and some slight crazing in the glaze, also shown in the photos. Otherwise, in nearly perfect condition with possible fine scratches.
It is recommended to clean these plates with a soft, wet cloth or by hand washing
This is signed by the artist on the back and has two holes on the back with a string to hang it on your wall.
