Vibrant, dynamic original painting with mixed media, signed on recto and en verso, matted, in custom Italian solid wood frame, under gallery acrylic (not pictured), and ready to hang. A very unique piece with wonderful energy.
Color and emotion are the main components of Craig’s work. Each painting begins with indiscriminate brushstrokes and lines filled with expressive colors. He builds a portrait from layers of adding and removing shapes and textures. The finalized piece has a complete personality of its own. Craig often listens to music (mostly jazz and classical) while painting and much of the abstract movement and inspiration that is heard in this genre is seen and felt in his works.
