Stunning brutalist table lamp in cast aluminum, designed by Belgian goldsmith Willy Luyckx for Aluclair in the 1960s. Willy Luyckx previously worked for renowned goldsmith Camille Colruyt before launching his own designs under the name Aluclair.
This lamp is a beautiful example of Luyckx's signature brutalist style, with robust shapes and an industrial look. During this period, Aluclair produced a range of unique objects, including ashtrays, candlesticks, and various lamps in the same burnt aluminum, with craftsmanship and originality at the forefront. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
