Harry Bertoia's 'Side' chairs were designed in 1952 and produced by Knoll. The chair was conceived through Bertoia's experimentation with the art of bending metal bars. It is considered one of the great achievements of mid-century design. The finished chairs are lightweight and durable, boasting a modern and timeless design.
In Bertoia's own words: "If you look at these chairs, they are primarily air, like sculpture. Space passes through them.
The chairs are in good condition; they show minor signs of age. The original cushion is not included.
Dimensions are 73 cm high, 54 cm wide, and 58 cm deep.
