Hand-Painted Signed Ken Edwards Pottery El Palomar Blue Hexagon Dish Vintage 70s
Excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks, or nicks. Light wear normal for age. This listing is for a wonderful vintage hand-painted Tonala hexagon shaped pottery dish/tray by Ken Edwards Pottery. The back is signed -- it has a fish with MR signature with the word Mexico. The "MR" found on Ken Edwards pottery is the signature or mark of one of the many individual artists who worked in Edwards's Tonalá, Mexico, studio. Ken Edwards trained a large number of local artisans, and they each added a unique signature or "chop mark" to their finished pieces. As anyone familiar with Ken Edwards' work, no two pieces are alike as they are painted by hand.
Measures 1.50" depth; 10" across; 1.14 lbs wt, prior to careful packaging.
