Vintage French Rococo Revival Vase Form Lamps W/Gilt Brass Scrolled Handles - A Pair
Vintage French Rococo Revival style lamps featuring elegant porcelain vase forms with cream-colored bisque glazing. It hosts intricate gold-painted floral motifs (including roses and leafy vines), and ornate ormolu (gilt brass) mounts featuring scrolling handles and footed bases. These elements draw from 18th-century French Rococo aesthetics—curvilinear, asymmetrical ornamentation inspired by nature—but adapted in a mid 20th-century revival, often seen in Sèvres-inspired porcelain pieces converted to lamps.
