The chair has square tapered wood front legs & rectangular wood back legs & the ottoman has black ball casters. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, we have noticed 2 small spots on the back skirt of chair. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. This is a FABULOUS set composed of an accent chair wearing a GORGEOUS red & white plaid fabric with an overstuffed frame including a poly-foam blend filled loose & zippered T-seat cushion and back cushion, rolled arms with removeable arm covers, and pleated skirts. The chair has straight square, slightly tapered wood legs in the front & straight rectangular wood legs in the back while the ottoman features four black ball casters! Talk about comfort with convenience!! And, you don’t have to sacrifice superb style for functionality!! In fact, … they have a statement on their website about “who they are” exclaiming, “Pretty is, as pretty does!” That’s their mission… to help keep the world a little prettier, one piece of furniture at a time!! Way to keep your mission statement true with these beauties, Highland House!!
