Pair of 1950s tub chairs in very good original condition.
Solid wood frame.
Green velvet upholstery on all sides.
Matching fringes around the bottom edge.
Curved backrest, rounded to support the lower back.
Armrests in line with the backrest.
Seat cushion made of dense foam
on Nosag springs.
Stained beech wood base.
These green velvet armchairs are comfortable, light, and easy to move around. They add a touch of elegance to a living room, entryway, or bedroom. They appear to have been little used. These armchairs formed a space for resting and reading in a large bedroom in a mansion in the South of France.
