Artist: émile joseph carlier (1849-1927) period: 20th century style: art deco condition: good condition material: gilt bronze
pair of bookends in spelter and black marble representing on one side a young satyr and on the other a kid, each struggling to keep the books upright. They are signed on the bases with a point "carlier" and are in good condition. Note - small break on the marble base
dimensions total height 20cm and 16,5cmspelter height only 18cm and 14cmbase - l 19cm x w 15cm this piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
