Each plate depicts a different, artfully designed architectural monument, reflecting not only the outstanding craftsmanship of the renowned Meissen manufactory but also offering a fascinating insight into the artistic representation of the animal world. The plates come from different series and decades from 1818 to 1900 and therefore differ in motif and design.
