Art Deco style desk lamp made by Fog and Mørup during the 1930s. It features a patinated bronze base and rod both with 'stepped' architectural features. The iconic striped opaline glass top shade resembles a fried egg in shape - hence its unofficial name: 'The Fried Egg'. This particular example was made during the mid-late 1930s. The design is similar to lamps from Poul Henningsen in particular. Measurements: H: 37 cm, Diameter shade/base: 17/16.5 cm.
