A watercolor enclosed by a decorative watercolor, bodycolor & gold border. John Ruskin championed Goodwin & took him on a tour of Europe, including Tuscany 1872-1880, likely the genesis of this work. Exhibited: Ruskin & Tuscany, Ruskin Gallery, Sheffield, #119. Possibly original frame (of the period), now reset by Chris Beetles, Ltd, London.
