The bowl and vase have a simple, yet fluid design. The three rounded lobes of the bowl resemble waves. The bowl is approximately 15” across and approximately 6” high. It is hand blown and tiny bubbles in the glass are a natural result of the manufacturing process, as explained on the Holmegaard web site. The bowl is signed. The vase is approximately 9” high at the front and approximately 10” high at the back. It is approximately 5” across. Per Lutken designed these pieces in the 1960s.
They are in good preowned condition, with some minor imperfections that do not affect the overall beauty of the pieces. The bowl and vase have some shallow surface scratches. The vase has two small chips on the base. Please refer to the pictures, and let me know if you would like additional pictures.
