Has ball … Read more Traditional elegance best describes this magnificent table. An Anglo-Indian rosewood inlay coffee table with a removable glass top. Has ball and claw feet with leg carvings. Sometimes used for wedding and other ceremonies. Know as a Bijot table for Pooja Prayers. The wonderful scene depicts a loving couple with trees, a river, donkey and an intricate, wide border. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use. There is one arched scuff mark on the top, lower right and some scuff marks on the legs. No serious damage or repairs.
