A stunning ceramic vase, glazed on the outside and majolica on the inside, entirely hand-crafted on a lathe, decorated with tribal geometric designs hand-engraved by the artist using gouges. Made by the renowned ceramist Ugo Zaccagnini, it is signed under the base with his initial "Z" and catalog number, circa mid-20th century. The geometric designs, creating archaic-tribal geometric figures, are particularly beautiful, a decoration rarely used by Ugo Zaccagnini. The patina is good, consistent with our dating. Finally, the ceramic biscuit vase, even a medium-sized one, often weighs almost 2 kg.
