Happe. The Pharmaceutica is a very rare work, even individual plates of plants are rare. This set shows Rheum Rhapontieum and Rheum Palmatum. Rheum rhaponticum, the false rhubarb, rhapontic rhubarb or rhapontic, is a plant species in the genus Rheum found in the wild. Rheum palmatum is a herbaceous perennial related to the edible rhubarb. It is primarily used in traditional medicine, and as an ornamental subject in the garden. See less
