Extremely rare spherical vase with ribs, made of blown sommerso and pulegoso glass, acid-treated and sandblasted, with a pinkish color achieved with the addition of colloidal gold. Signed under the base, also with acid, "Barovier Murano." Dating to the mid-20th century, made in Murano, Venice.
