Vase by French artist Claude Morin, a key figure in the revival of glass art in France. Based in Dieulefit in the 1970s, he developed a unique formal language, combining experimentation and technical rigor.
Hand-blown, this vase features a rounded base and a narrow neck, with subtle swirls of purple and brown that unfold within the mass of the glass. The depth of the color, combined with the slight transparencies, gives the piece a visual intensity and an almost pictorial dimension.
