Large blown glass jug by Claude Morin, a key French artist in the revival of glass art in the 1970s. Based in Dieulefit, he explored the potential of color and light through understated yet powerful forms.
Crafted in cobalt blue glass, this jug captivates with the harmony of its silhouette: a generous base, a long, flared neck, and a handle applied with a fluid gesture that emphasizes its balance. The dense transparency of the glass reveals fine bubbles and variations, testifying to the craftsman's hand.
