Blown glass bowl by French artist Claude Morin, a leading figure in the revival of glass art in France. Based in Dieulefit since the 1970s, he has developed a style that is both refined and expressive, highlighting the depth of color and the purity of form.
Hand-blown from intense blue-tinted glass, this large bowl features a broad, open silhouette, with simple lines that reveal the density of the material and the subtle transparencies of the shades. Its generous size makes it a remarkable piece, somewhere between a functional object and a decorative sculpture, fully embodying the artist's artisanal and poetic expertise.
