A mixed media original art work in the manner of Francis Bacon yet with the feel of a reclining figure in a Vincent van Gogh work. It's mainly pastel but we see a possibility of acrylic or oil or water color paint in it as well. It's done on paper and not signed as far as the front goes. Is there something written for us on the back? We did not open to check. But we can certainly ascertain that the painter here was no joke. The piece if very well executed. This was a painter with years of experience and the ability to manipulate a figure from reality to abstract. This accomplishment is harder to pull off than it's made out to seem.

This is a mid 20th Century piece framed and ready to hang. The mat is a little dirty and you may choose to replace it, but we like to leave things as found when it comes to vintage pieces. There is also a little rip on the lower right corner of the paper. Please see all photos.
