A rare and monumental Royal Copenhagen lamp, hand-painted by celebrated artist Thorkild Olsen in the 1950s–early 1960s. The body features exquisite celadon craquelure glaze with finely detailed birds painted in rich cobalt blue and accented with touches of gold.
The underside bears both Olsen’s monogram (“T” within an “O”) and the wavy Royal Copenhagen mark, confirming authenticity. Olsen, one of Royal Copenhagen’s most respected artists, developed the specialized glaze technique seen here.
