Stunning black clay ceramic raku plant pot, bowl, or vase featuring creamy off white glaze with black crazing and faint accents of pale green. Artist signed on the bottom and dated 1975.
This type of raku features crazing, which is due to a change in temperature and in the reduction-oxidation process. This makes each piece unique, with the outcome often out of the artist's control and left up to the natural firing process.
