19th century, Morocco, North Africa, most impressive monumental size, profusely decorated, Moresque taste (Moorish / Arabesque), hand carved polychrome painted doors, clad with sheets of studded brass, central recessed mihrab niche-form panel with geometric carvings and painted scrollwork, framed by carved registers of stylized calligraphic script, retaining iron sliding dowel latch and ring handles.
